Can you react in time?
Under both UK and EU GDPR you have just 72 hours to report a breach to the data protection authorities – if notification is necessary. You’ll need to move quickly through identification, containment and remediation, gathering the information you need to make your risk assessment and decide whether regulators and data subjects need to be told.
